Successfully accomplishing the goals of this course and completing the tasks described in the modules requires a lot of self-directed learning, but no one has to do it on their own. This page lists quite a lot of resources that will help, including affiliated units and centers at UMW, external links to useful tools and platforms, and a bibliography of related and frequently-assigned articles, books, and media..

DKC tutors can assist with most of the tools and tasks of this class.

The ThinkLab is a makerspace for the UMW community, located in Simpson 225A.

Digital Intensive Program

DGST 101 is part of UMW's Digital Intensive program, a new "Across the Curriculum" requirement.
